Jimmy Sieja, Economic Research Analyst

I recently started as an Economic Research Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, where I work with economists Paul Mohnen and Roberto Robatto. I earned my BBA in Business Economics from Mississippi State University in 2025, with a minor in Data Science, and was an AEA Summer Program Scholar in 2024. You can view my CV (PDF).

My interests are in economics of education, labor economics, urban economics, and geographic mobility. I’m currently working with Josh Phillips on research related to remote work and domestic brain drain within the United States. More detail is on the research page.
